Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) today officially announced that Al Nabooda Insurance Brokers (ANIB) will continue their partnership with the Emirates Cricket Board as Official Sponsor of the UAE National Cricket Teams for 2019, specific to UAE’s Men’s, Women’s, U19 and U16 representative sides.
Zayed Abbas, Emirates Cricket Board Member and Spokesperson said, “Emirates Cricket Board is exceptionally pleased to continue our journey with ANIB as sponsor of our National Representative Teams.” “We have established a very strong relationship with them, over the past 12 months, and we are encouraged by their commitment to our strategies and goals.”
“We have recently bolstered our men’s side with more contracted players and are thrilled to see our ladies secure an ICC record by scoring the largest ever victory (over China) in an official Women’s T20i at a recent T20i match played in Thailand.” “We have a very robust calendar moving into 2019, starting with the Nepal Tour (Men’s) which will showcase three ODI games followed by three T20i’s to be played at the ICC Academy. It’s worthy to note that ANIB are also the official insurance suppliers for the Emirates Cricket Board. Sukumar Rajagopal, Managing Director of ANIB, said, “We are absolutely delighted to continue as the sponsors of the UAE National Cricket teams. Our relationship with the ECB is a very strong one, with a shared vision to not only promote the gentleman’s game in the region but to also identify and create a pathway, for the right talent to get to the bigger stage”.
