Dubai, 01 February 2026: UAE’s Men’ National Team will play in a brand new playing kit at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. The new jersey was launched at a glittering ceremony in Dubai, a day ahead of the team’s departure to Chennai. The ceremony was attended by the management of the national team partners STARTRADER and Bisleri as well as the ICC Director of Associate Members Mubashshir Usmani and the ECB Board Member Zayed Abbas.

UAE’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 playing kit concept:

  • This jersey is more than a playing kit; it is a story of who we are and the roots of the team.
  • Gold has been used prominently to represent the cultural opulence, ambition, and excellence of the UAE, a nation built on heritage, progress, and global aspiration. It reflects not just success, but the standards we expect of ourselves on the world stage.
  • The sand dune pattern across the front is inspired by the UAE’s natural landscapes — timeless, powerful, and ever-shifting, much like the journey of this team. It symbolises resilience, movement, and the ability to rise from challenging conditions.
  • The flowing dune lines also represent momentum, a visual reminder that this team is not standing still, but moving forward with belief, purpose, and pride as we step onto the World Cup stage.
  • The overall colour palette brings together modern performance design with deep national symbolism, ensuring the jersey feels contemporary, fearless, and unmistakably Emirati.
