UAE to host Women’s T20 Quadrangular Abu Dhabi 2024 next month

Dubai, 22 March 2024: UAE will host Netherlands, Scotland and USA in the Women’s Quadrangular T20 Abu Dhabi 2024 next month. The tournament will serve as preparations for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier which will also be played in Abu Dhabi from 25 April to 7 May. 

All four teams are participating in the Qualifier, the two finalists of the Qualifier will progress to the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup which will be played in Bangladesh later this year.

Each day, two matches will be played in the Women’s Quadrangular T20 Abu Dhabi 2024. The tournament will be played on single-league basis with each of the four teams playing three matches. 

On the opening day – Tuesday, 16 April – UAE take on Netherlands at the Zayed Cricket Stadium from 3pm local time. Scotland will play USA in the evening game at the same venue, the match will begin at 7pm. On day two – Wednesday, 17 April – UAE will take on USA and Netherlands will play Scotland, both fixtures will be staged at the Zayed Cricket Stadium. 

On Friday 19 April, USA will face Netherlands and UAE will take on Scotland at the Tolerance Oval.
