Samaira Dharnidharka to lead UAE in ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier 2024

Dubai, 1 November 2024: Pacer Samaira Dharnidharka will lead the 14-member UAE U19 team in the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier 2024 which will be played at the Seven District Sports Club in Ajman, UAE. 

 

A total of four teams are competing in the eight-day event. Besides the hosts UAE, Kuwait, Nepal and Thailand are the other participants. Each team will play a total of six matches in the double-league event format – two against each of the three opponents. UAE will take on Kuwait in their event opener on Wednesday, 6 November. 

 

The team that tops the table will earn qualification for the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 which will be played in Malaysia.
