Muhammad Waseem to lead UAE in Pearl of Africa T20I Series in Uganda

Dubai, 14 July 2025: Seasoned opening batter Muhammad Waseem will lead the 14-member UAE squad in the Pearl of Africa T20I Series which will be played at the Entebbe Cricket Oval in Entebbe, Uganda. 

UAE will be playing the national teams from the hosts Uganda, Kenya, and Nigeria in the series - six matches in the league stage – two against each opponent. The team that finishes at the top of the table at the end of the league stage will be declared the tournament winner. UAE will play Kenya in their opening match of the tournament on Friday, 18 July.

Saturday, 26 July – UAE vs Nigeria – Entebbe Cricket Oval.
