Emirates Cricket Board announces team to represent the UAE in upcoming ‘ANIB Challenge Series 2019’ T20i matches against Nepal 

- Matches will be played on January 31st, February 1st and 3rd at the ICC Academy, Dubai Sports City -

Emirates Cricket Board has today announced the team that will represent the UAE in the upcoming ‘ANIB Challenge Series 2019’ T20i matches against Nepal. 

The first of three matches will be played Thursday January 31st, with the second match scheduled Friday February 1st and, rounding out the series is the third and final T20i which will be played Sunday February 3rd (2019).  All matches will be played at the ICC Academy (ICCA) ANIB Oval, at Dubai Sports City, starting at 13:00 (UAE time). 

Entry to watch all matches is free, and with what is anticipated to be a highly-popular series, access to the ICCA will be strictly limited where entry will be on a first-come-first-served basis. As with the recent ODI series, the UAE v Nepal T20i series will be live-streamed using Pitch-Vision via Dubai Sports City’s YouTube account.

Waleed Bukhatir, Emirates Cricket Board Member and Chief Selector said; “The engagement from the fans we experienced with the ANIB Challenge Series ODI matches was truly encouraging, and we are delighted to continue the series with three T20i’s.” added Bukhatir. “We wish both teams the very best and expect to see exciting cricket played through this highly-popular short format.” he added.

The team that will represent the UAE, in the opening match on Thursday January 31st, is;
